What we collect

When you create an account we collect your email address, username, date of birth, and country. We also collect gameplay data. If you subscribe to daily trivia, we collect your name, email, country, time zone, and selected categories.

How we use it

We use your information to operate Savant Duel, match you with players, maintain leaderboards, calculate ratings and XP, protect streaks, and improve question quality and game balance.

Public information

Your username, country, rating, level, tier, streak, and leaderboard position may be visible to other players. Your email address and date of birth are never public.

Device information

We may collect basic device and technical information, such as app version, operating system, and crash reports, to keep the service reliable.

No ads, no selling

This version of Savant Duel contains no advertising. We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

Where your data lives

Your data is stored securely with Supabase, our backend provider, using industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest.

Daily trivia email

Newsletter details are used only to choose and deliver two daily questions at 7:30 AM in your selected local time zone. Resend provides email delivery. Every message includes a one-click unsubscribe link.

Deleting your account

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from inside the app, under Settings. Once deleted, data cannot be recovered.

Changes

If we update this policy, we will revise the date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app.
