Every clue states exactly how many digits occur in the answer and whether they are correctly or wrongly placed. If a clue says one digit is correct, the other displayed digits do not occur in the code.
A unique verified answer
A complete solver enumerates every allowed code and confirms that the published clues leave exactly one solution. Daily codes use three distinct digits unless the rules explicitly say otherwise.
Daily and Practice modes
Daily mode gives everyone the same stable puzzle at midnight UTC. Practice selects a separate validated code and clues without changing today’s stored result.
